We are delighted to have been invited to join the Joint Nautical Archaeology Policy Committee – a group of respected individuals and organisations in the world of maritime archaeology whose purpose is to raise the profile of nautical archaeology and persuade the Government that underwater historic sites deserve the same degree of protection as those on land. It will be fascinating to be part of this impressive group and hope it will give us the opportunity to promote the importance of the underwater cultural heritage of the Goodwin Sands.
